We are looking for Research Assistant in the area of Digital Innovation
The research assistant will contribute in research projects focusing on digital innovation. The main research project focuses on how people collaborate to create artifacts such as product designs, code and music in both digital and physical settings. The proposed research will conduct experiments as well as examine different online collaboration communities in 3D printing, open source software and music. We are looking for people interested in the above.
Setting, running and analysing experiments, both offline and online (e.g. MechanicalTurk).
Collect data from online communities through web scraping and/or the use of their APIs.
Statistical analysis of data collected.
Support literature search, retrieval, and review activities.
Support further secondary research activities not included in the list above.
Last university degree (B.S. or M.S.) must have been obtained less than 5 years ago.
High level of proficiency in English, both written and oral.
Independent-minded, autonomous, good self-discipline and self-management.
Work permit in Spain.
Additional skills (bonus)
– Prior experience with 3D printing, computer graphics, search engine algorithms, and/or online experiments.
-Machine/deep learning experience/interest.
