Alejandro has recently informed us about a brand new service in Barcelona which allows you to track your Taxi in Barcelona in real time on an online map.

Taxis.cat has deployed a system on which the taxi user can get or book a taxi and see its position in real time on a web map.

Available throughout Barcelona, Taxis.Cat uses the TaxiMobile technology featuring taxi cab drivers with GPS mobile phones.

Now its easy than ever before to know where the taxi is and when the taxi will arrive (from/to). No more waiting around and wondering if that cab is actually coming or not.
